Over fifty years ago, Ruth Silverberg defined consignment with the opening of Toronto’s first own, Second Nature Boutique. Ruth began by exchanging pieces among friends, discovering that style, confidence, affordability and community could coexist beautifully. From that belief, a boutique was born.

Today, her daughter Kary Dick, alongside her granddaughter Jenna Dick, continue the legacy with a designer’s eye and an entrepreneur’s vision.

Blending modern fashion insight with a curated sensibility, they have kept Second Nature true to its roots while evolving it for the current contemporary woman.

For over 51 years, Second Nature Boutique remains a destination where timeless style lives and confidence takes shape. Since opening our second location in 2020, Second Nature has grown into a modern expression of designer consignment, where sustainability, resale, and curated luxury coexist.
