Administrative Assistant (SEASONAL) (PART-TIME)

We are excited to announce that our consignment boutique is currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant for our busy Fall/Winter season. Second Nature is a proudly local family business that has been owned and operated by 3 generations of women for over 50 years! We specialize in gently designer goods with a focus on sustainability and the importance of helping women of every age, shape, and size feel their most confident through quality Fashion.


As our Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the business and assisting in all back-of-house functions. We are seeking a dynamic, super-organized, and highly motivated individual who is extremely tech-savvy to join the hardworking administrative team!


Looking for a candidate available for three days a week and to start immediately until December 31st.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting back-of-house client and customer relations including answering the phone and responding to email inquiries.
  • Following up with client requests including balance checks and general inquiries.
  • Helping to keep the office tidy and organized.
  • Listing new products and documenting item inventory as well as tagging clothing.
  • Research of products as required to compare to the resale market for pricing.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of administrative experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be computer savvy, confident and able to learn new software quickly.
  • A love and appreciation for fashion is preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail, fashion or consignment is not required but a bonus.
